Upper:
Upper in Lorica and nylon mesh. Lorica It is a Hi-Tech leather made from the most sophisticated technology. Lorica is a combination of the finest micro-fibres ever produced. It is water-repellent permeable to water vapour and resistant to tearing, splitting, scratching and atmospheric agents. It has a good air-breathing capacity. Lorica offers exceptional performances and guarantees to the users extraordinary softness and elegance.
Soft Instep 2:
The anatomical and comfortable strap has been reduced and coupled to soft, thermo-formed material increasing comfort and performance. It distributes pressure evenly over the arch area, adjustable from both sides for perfect centering. The system eliminates the need for the High Instep Extender. The Soft Instep Closure System' serviceable and replaceable.
Caliper Buckle:
The micrometric closure called Caliper buckle is regulated by lifting the central buckle. In order to completely open, lift together both side buckles, while to slightly loosen the closure during the race the central clip must be lifted.
High Security Velcro:
High security Velcro straps with integrated locking polymer teeth, that engage onto each other when the strap is closed. This feature makes the closure more secure and the strap becomes unmoveable.
Heel:
The reinforced heel keeps the foot in position and avoids the shoe being deformed by extreme performance or prolonged pressure.
Millennium 3 Sole:
The Millennium 3 sole is a sleek, modern redesign of the Millennium 2 sole. By fortifying the sole with carbon fiber, Sidi designers have created a sole that improves on the technical characteristics of the previous nylon sole. It is constructed out of injected carbon fiber in a nylon matrix. The infusion of carbon fiber gives the sole more rigidity than the previous sole. The Millennium 3 sole is also more durable and less susceptible to changes in stiffness resulting from prolonged usage and changes in temperature. The Millennium 3 sole features a replaceable non-slip polyurethane heel Pad. The heel pad is held in place by a screw. The Millennium 3 is compatible with the best road pedals on the market. To facilitate cleat replacement, the Millennium 3 sole features a 10 mm horizontal and vertical cleat alignment scale molded into the sole as well as the Look Memory Eyelet.
