Road Shoes
SiDi Café offers the largest collection of SiDi Road cycling shoes online. Each SiDi Road shoe is hand made for SiDi Café for use by road cyclists. Top of the line SiDi shoes like Genius 6.6 sport the SiDi Carbon Lite Sole, specially designed for road cycling. The sole is rigid all throughout as common with traditional road shoes, but provide a little more flex around the toes. The result is a shoe that allows for better blood circulation and foot health. The Sole is lighter as well, allowing road cycling to generate more speed with less effort.
While traditional road shoes are not walk-friendly, SiDi shoes with Carbon Lite soles have an anti-slip insert at the toe and a replaceable polyurethane heel pad which makes it much easier to walk. Premium range SiDi road shoes also feature the Soft Instep Closure System that distributes pressure evenly over the arch area. It’s completely adjustable and does not chafe the skin even when wet.
The SiDi Road shoes like Genius 6.6 also feature the new Adjustable Heel Retention Device. This device closes the back of the shoe more securely around the rider’s ankle so that it doesn’t slip during steep climbs or sprints.
At a slightly lower range are the SiDi road shoes with Carbon Composite Sole. This sole is designed with carbon fibre and nylon and is thinner at the toe to provide flex.
For the more basic SiDi Road shoes such as Spark/Nevada, Zephyr, Genius 5 pro and Logo, SiDi uses its SiDi Millennium 3 Sole. This sole is fortified with carbon fibre, giving 36% more rigidity than the previous Millennium 2 soles. It is also compatible with the best road pedals on the market. To facilitate cleat replacement, the Millennium 3 sole features a 10 mm horizontal and vertical cleat alignment scale moulded into the sole as well as the Look Memory Eyelet.
