We took a peek at the SiDi 2011 range and we were excited to see some of our favourite shoes in a whole bunch of new colours. SiDi seems to have broken out of its black, white, red colour combinations and dived right into the colourful world of green, cream and blues as well. The new colours lay over the basic and white and black to give the shoes a more stylish and almost an attitude about them that was missing from the SiDi shoes before.

The Italian cycling shoe manufacturer SiDi is the maker of a number of brilliant shoes, but one name that seems to come up every time a race winner joins SiDi is the Genius Carbon Lite 6.6 shoe. This year alone SiDi has backed three winning cyclists and all were sporting a SiDi Genius 6.6. The entire Team Liquigas-Cannondale that won XVI Gran Premio Costa degli Etruschi wearing Genius 6.6 shoes. Then Joaquim Rodriguez (No.1 in the UCI rankings for 2010). Recently we also saw the blazing comeback of Tom Boonen under the SiDi banner and guess what he was wearing –SiDi Genius Carbon Lite 6.6!

We can see a distinct pattern here. So why does every body love the SiDi Genius 6.6?
